The Civil Solidarity Action organized in six squares ofTbilisi31 March was joined by representatives of media and non-governmental sector, who gathered in the Central Part of Kutaisi.  

The given action was symbolic and was aimed at expressing civil position and solidarity on 6 key topics:  human rights, education, environmental protection, free media, fair elections and cultural heritage.  

Action inKutaisiwas organized by the Akhali Gazeti (New Newspaper.)  

“We wantedKutaisito symbolically join in the rallies organized inTbilisi.  Part of civil sector and media representatives still came despite the bad weather.  I hope it will not be the single rally.  By such peaceful, solidarity rallies we wish to draw attention of the public to such important topics as:  cultural heritage, human rights, education and healthcare,” Chief Editor of Akhali Gazeti Ia Bobokhidze told media.ge.
