25 May – Peaceful Rally of Journalists in Regions - 13:00

Friday, 25 May, 1 p.m. in several regions of Georgia:  Shida and Kvemo Kartli – in front Municipality, Gori – in frong of Gamgeoba (Council), GUrjaani – Papa Garden premises, Kutaisi – in front of Parliament, Ozurgeti – Movie Theatre premises, Lanchkuti – main garden of the city, Adjara – European Square, will be held a peaceful solidarity rally. 

Demands of the rally participants are: 

- Stop of journalists’ oppression;

- All the political unions must stop interfering with the professional activities of journalists;

- Investigations must be launched for the latest facts of interference with the professional journalistic activities. 

Rally motto is – “We are not weak, we express solidarity.” 

Media group Adjara P.S. journalist Sulkhan Meskhidzeis the coordinator of the rally in westernGeorgiaand newspaper Rustavi News Editor Tamar Batiashvili is the coordinator in easternGeorgia.
