Jikha TV Marked 10th Anniversary

In 1994, following well-known developments in Georgia when the post civil-war country kick-started reviving a Tsalenjikha (West Georgia) resident Kakhaber Kvaratskhelia started up TV airing through a black and white TV set and Russian made family video recorder. Every evening he had to carry the equipments on his back up to the transmitter erected 360 meters above sea level. By that time nobody complained about the quality of broadcasting while it used to be the only TV station considered as the best source of information for the population exhausted with Mkhedrioni (paramilitary group and political organization) invasions. Later on young enthusiasts appeared who having appreciated Kakhaber Kvaratskhelia
