Seminars for Journalists - Media Reporting on Children
Trainings aim at informing journalists about children's rights and ethical norms and protection of international standards while reporting on children. In particular, the following issues will be discussed: UN human rights' system, child rights and international obligations, children in conflict with the law and international standards, reform of the juvenile justice system in Georgia, child rights and media, psychological aspects of reporting on children by media, journalist's freedom and responsibilities, media ethics and child rights, standards on reporting on children in conflict with the law, interviewing children.

I Training - 8-9 July in Tbilisi, for members of the Association for Regional Broadcasters
II Training - 16-17 July, Bazaleti, for Tbilisi-based journalists
III Training - 22-23 July, Kobuleti, for west-Georgia journalists
IV Training - 30-31 July, Sighnaghi, for east-Georgia journalists
Participants of the trainings - 20. Travel and accommodation expenses of the participants will be covered.
