TBC TV Studio Makes Apology for Question to Jiji Rejini

TBC TV Studio has made an apology for the question posed to Jiji Rejini in the course of the Imedi TV program Time of Truth. The anchor's question was related to the photographer's ethnic origin: "Have you ever felt ashamed of your Armenian origin?" The question was irritating for the Armenians residing in Georgia. Therefore the authors of the program made an apology on the next day off of the show.

"The question posed to Jiji Rejini regarding his Armenian origin never meant discrediting ethnic minorities, our sister nation such as Armenians. This is the one and only question in the history of Time of Truth that, we think, might have been ambiguously interpreted. I would like to tell anyone concerned that their opinion will always be taken into consideration and we'll try to avoid the questions of a kind," Noe Sulaberidze, Producer reported on Imedi TV.

Time of Truth is a joint undertaking by TBC TV Studio and Imedi TV, a Georgian remake of the American THE MOMENT OF TRUTH.
