Nana Intskirveli Quits Imedi TV
Reporting to InterPressNews agency Nana Intskirveli said her decision on quitting the television was due to non-appreciation to her work. According to the journalist she had already been made several job offers.
Imedi TV head Giorgi Arveladze, reporting to Media.ge, said Nana Intskirveli had no reason for discontent.
"It is truly incomprehensible to me why the journalist made a statement of a kind since we have never faced any misunderstanding or disagreement with her," said Giorgi Arveladze. According to the latter the reason for quitting was a better job offer by another company.
Previously journalist Nana Intskirveli used to work for Rustavi 2 broadcasting company. Ahead of her transfer to Imedi TV she was heading the press service of the Ministry of Defense during Irakli's Okruashvili's headship.
Mate Kirvalidze, former editor of Imedi TV Kronika news outlet, previously working for Rustavi 2, is to replace Nana Intskirveli.
"Mate Kirvalidze is a professional, no need for reference. Through his transfer professionalism and professional dignity he has got is being focused on. I am sure Kirvalidze is to shift Kronika into a new successful stage," said Arveladze having hereby admitted that the rating of the Kronika news outlet depends on the popularity of the TV series being aired.
