Radio Green Wave Kickstarted Production of Program on Georgian Media

On March 1 Radio Green Wave launched a new program about Georgian media.

The Criticizing Georgian Media project is being implemented with the support of the Open Society Georgia Foundation.

According to the editorial staff the goal of the project is to foster the development of professional criticism, public discussions on media-related important issues with the participation of dissenting parties, experts and media professionals; in addition to raising civil society and journalists' awareness of journalists' professional rights and public accountability.

The program is aired live on Mondays at 19:00 hrs. Within 10 months radio listeners will be offered 40 outlets. The program will be anchored by Lasha Bakradze, Sandro Tarkhan-Mouravi and Sandro Naveriani.
