WAN-IFRA and IREX Europe Look for a Local Co-trainer

WAN-IFRA, in association with IREX Europe, who together provide unrivalled global expertise in developing and delivering business solutions for publishers, invite you to join the Business Development Component of the EU-funded 2010 - 2011 Media Strengthening Programme for Georgia (MSPG).

The last day to apply is February 22, 2010.

The Programme is to addresses structural threats to media free from political interference. The Programme's Better Management and Business Development Component has been specifically designed to help media managers in Georgia in development of the strategic and operational skills required to address business problems, and implement sustainable revenue generating initiatives.

Whom we are looking for

We are looking for a local co-trainer with expertise in media management. Those who combine educational background in business management with thorough understanding of challenges that Georgian media enterprises face currently, are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be working, on a part-time basis, with the WAN-IFRA consultant on the better management and business development component of the programme throughout the programme's duration.

He/she:

-Will receive coaching from the WAN-IFRA consultant -Co-train, as required, with the WAN-IFRA consultant during group sessions for selected media outlets -Help training participants to prepare assignments given to them by the WAN-IFRA consultant -Co-ordinate work assignments to ensure, that delegates are progressing to agreed schedules and are clear on their assignments and outcomes -Coach delegates as required -Conduct on-site visits to the training participants in the absence of the WAN-IFRA consultant -Serve as a local consultant and point of reference for the training participants
